Public education on conservation topics - approximately 25% of the staffs time is devoted to educating the public about conservation easements, & the importance of protecting sensitive natural areas, etc.

Stewardship of conservation easements & fee simple properties - approximately 15% of the staffs time is spent visiting and monitoring the conservation easements and fee simple properties it holds. This includes meeting with landowners to discuss forest management plans and conducting site visits to properties.
