Central Susquehanna Riverboat Society

Our riverboat organization is committed to fostering environmental stewardship and cultural appreciation of our local waterways. This year, our key service accomplishment was working toward getting the riverboat operational, which will enable us to offer educational tours. These tours teach participants about the local environment, including flora, fauna, and the ecological significance of the river, through interactive workshops and activities. With the boat operational, we can also conduct on-board seminars to raise awareness about environmental issues, and distribute educational materials on sustainable practices. Additionally, the operational status will allow us to present local history and cultural heritage through storytelling and collaborations with local historians.
