Centro Cultural Hispano De San Marcos

Summer programs - centro cultural hispano de san marcos' very popular summer camps include art classes, makers camp, computer coding, camp ole, and a number of other engaging and educational courses and activities. Skilled instructors are proved along with associated supplies and refreshments. Each camp lasts one week with seven sessions scheduled during the summer school recess period. Artspace - centro's artspace art programming contextualizes knowledge and appreciation of multiple cultures by widening the scope of the world countries and regions studied through art. These include hispanic and latino influences as well as native american, european, indian, african and others. The free art classes explore international influences and include a class for 3-9 year-olds and one for 10 and up. Students and visitors totaled totaled over 250 during 2024 counts may include duplicate visits.

Other program services include the free and open to the public ofelia t. Vasquez mexican-american culture museum to provide opportunities for hispanic culture history and appreciation. Museum exhibits are offered for viewing and are supplemented by rotating art exhibits by noted artists and community groups.
