Mission

Century Clubs mission is to host a world-class PGA TOUR event to maximize support for the San Diego community and local youth programs.

Programs

1 program

Champions for Youth:Champions for Youth (CFY), a core charitable program of the Century Club, is a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign that strives to strengthen our charity partners ability to achieve long-term goals by providing development support and opportunities for collaboration, volunteerism, and brand exposure.Through an in-depth application and interview process, the Century Club selects San Diego charities that provide direct services to at-risk youth and their families for participation in CFY. Once charities are selected, the Century Club works with each charity to focus on improving the following three key challenge areas that the Century Club has found to be common among charities: 1) Donor engagement; 2) Lack of resources; and 3) Community awareness of the charity and causes they support. To facilitate and support the participants fundraising efforts, the Century Club donates resources and time to provide each charity with fundraising and awareness tools to ensure successful program participation. Century Club creates a customized online donation platform for each charity, for which it also covers all processing fees that a charity would normally incur through online fundraising. Additionally, the Century Club creates and provides customized online and printed campaign marketing tools, individualized strategic campaign consulting, guidance, and training to use to generate incremental funding and donor interest. Charities receive funding from a bonus pool based on how much they raise during a specific time window compared to the other participating organizations and how many donors contribute to their campaign during the specified time. The bonus pool not only provides charities with unrestricted dollars to assist with their mission, but the time-sensitive and competitive elements of the program enable charities to incentivize contributions from donors who understand that their donations will have an increased impact during this period. In addition to the resources and funding provided, the Century Club hosts service activities for its membership to volunteer their time in support of the various missions. The organizations also works to increase awareness of the participating charities and their causes in the San Diego community by including the charities in their marketing, social media, and outreach efforts.Through this program, the Century Club supported 6 local charities for the year ending April 30, 2024.
