To provide essential resources to area residents. C.I.D.E.R. is dedicated to developing and fostering resources that enable the people of Grand Isle County, Vermont to live in their community with dignity.

Senior Meals Program - With expanded funding from the United Way and direct donations to the program, CIDER operates a senior community meal program know as The Neighbor. Nutritious home cooked meals are prepared by CIDERs Chef with home help and assistance from volunteers and provided four times weekly at a local church and through the Meals on Wheels program. In a normal year, nearly 5,000 meals are served.

Other Programs - The monthly CIDER Press newsletter, ramp, building and other accessibility projects, a special needs equipment lending closet, development activities for a future housing project, and a number of health, fitness and educational programs.
