Mission
Building stronger communications in Haiti through orphan care, schools, feed programs, medical clinics, and womens programs.
Programs
2 programs
Feeding Program - In an effort to help families, Chances for Children provides 5,000 children with meals each day. This effort promotes family preservation and helps keep children out of orphanages.
Agriculture - Our mission is to empower Haitian families through farming, animal husbandry, and tree propagation, fostering sustainability and independence. We provide seed distribution, supplies, training, and livestock, having supported approximately 400 families since the start of the program in villages like Caporal, Derriere Puit, Belle Anse, and Massikot. Families receive female goats/sheep for reproduction, with offspring used for income generation. We distribute seeds, fertilizer, and offer agricultural guidance, enabling families to feed themselves and generate income. Partnering with feeding programs, were growing fresh food locally in Mabriole, creating jobs and improving food security amidst challenges.
