Chandler/gilbert arc's mission is to facilitate growth for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through choice, experience, guidance and respect.

Day treatment and training program provides varied actvities enhanced by practical learning opportunities including individual training in academic, personal, social community living and recreational skills. This program served forty-five to fifty adults, five days a week.

Employment/vocational services program provides training in skill development, job exploration, job training and job placement, this program develops each individual's skills and independence so they may work successfully in the community.chandler gilbert arc's employment program continued partnerships with long horn stake house, albertsons, fry's, safeway, crayola experience and avec amore to provide community employment (esa or ise) to six individuals; group employment program (gse) also continued its lawn and janitorial services. Chandler/gilbert arc's gse program was able to partner with chandler regional hospital and gilbert mercy hospital as a partner for their recycling services. These partnerships led to community employment for an additional fifteen individuals served in the program.chandler gilbert arc employment program (esa - employments service aide or ise - individual supported employment )has approximately 13% of its members working out in the community with support, once a week for an hour from a job coach. The employment program ( gse - group supportive employment) has approximately 25% of its members working in the community with job coach support throughout the individuals work shift. The total percentage of individuals engaged in community employment is approximately 38%.
