Boarding schools: the goal of the ministry is to educate children in the mathare slum who do not have resources to attend school. There is no tuition free education in kenya. For children too old for our school, we have sponsors who pay school fees so these children can attend school. The elementary age kids attend local academies. The older kids go to boarding schools outside of the slum. We paid tuition directly to the schools for these kids.
Saturday program: furthers our exempt purpose as it provides spiritual enrichment opportunities. We provided spiritual enrichment activities to school age kids and their families every saturday in mathare, nairobi, kenya. The kids learn life skills and character building through team sports, bible studies, health awareness, etc. This program is free of charge and food is provided.
Benevolence: funds were provided for medical and other urgent needs for families sponsored children or school staff
