Channahon Volunteer Fire Dept

The purpose of the department is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, including, for such purposes, advancement of education and training, lessening the burden of a government body specifically the channahon fire protection district, and the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizatoins described under section 501c(3) of the internal revenue code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Striving to improve fire safety and fire protection in the channahon area in an effort to better serve the residents of the channahon fire protection district.
