Channel Islands Regional Gis

General - - Devise, organize, promote, conduct, and participate in GIS activities designed to make the public and GIS professionals aware of the geospatial data and opportunities available for the Channel Islands region. The annual region-wide meeting in late May or early June at the University of California, Santa Barbara (spatial@UCSB.EDU) was not held. The annual region-wide GIS Day celebration was held in November at Ventura College for the 20th year. The aperiodic CIRGIS general membership meetings at Ventura College were not held. CIRGIS Board meetings were virtual and by conference calls. It is hoped the regular routine schedule will resume in 2025.
