CHARGE SYNDROME IS A RARE GENETIC CONDITION MOST EVIDENT THROUGH UNIQUE FACIAL FEATURES AND IMPACTS MANY PARTS OF A CHILD'S BODY INCLUDING THEIR EYES, NERVES, HEART, NASAL PASSAGES, GENITALS AND EARS. THE CHARGE SYNDROME FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED THE ETHAN WOLFE RECREATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS WITH CHARGE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THE JOYS OF MOBILITY BY PARTICIPATING IN FUN, ENRICHING ACTIVITIES AND ACCESSING MUCH NEEDED RESOURCES AND EQUIPMENT. THIS INCLUDES ADAPTIVE BIKES, SUMMER CAMPS, AND THERAPEUTIC AND SPECIALIZED CLASSES. THE FOUNDATION ALSO FOCUSES ON GROWING ITS OUTREACH AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS; PROMOTING AWARENESS BY BUILDING NETWORKS AND PARTNERSHIPS; AND BY STAYING APPRISED OF LEADING-EDGE RESEARCH.
