A host home program afffords the opportunity for a person with a disability to choose to live with an individual couple or a family in the community to share their life experiences together. The individual thus becomes a valued member of the home family and develops permanent relationships that then help that individual grow and develop. The family receives a monthly stipend plus room and board for suporting the individual with disabilities in their home.
