Mission

The mission of the charter school of educational excellence (csee) is to produce students who meet or exceed all new york state learning standards. Csee will do this by creating a challenging learning environment with high expectations for every child with an emphasis on the basic subject areas of english-language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. The school will employ standards based and research proven curriculum, implement best educational practices, use a variety of assessments to measure on-going student progress in skills and content learning, and support teachers with professional development activities that are aligned to the instructional program. Csees emphasis on basic subjects will give students a strong academic foundation that will allow them to become critical thinkers and life-long learners. The school will also expose students to a diverse curriculum that promotes appreciation of art, music, and cultural awareness. The charter school of educational excel
