Chatham Park Elementary School Home And School Association

The Chatham Park Elementary School Home and School Association "HASA" is a 100% volunteer organization that works to strengthen enhance and supplement the educational and social environment of Chatham Park Elementary School. Data has demonstrated that children who families are engaged in their education are more likely to: 1 earn higher grades and score higher on tests 2 graduate from high school and college 3 develop self-confidence and motivation in the classroom and 4 have better social skills and classroom behavior. HASA will engage in activities that develop programming that facilitates active participation of students caregivers strengthening student-caregiver student-school relationships and thereby foster positive school environments and home-school relations.
