Agriculture leadership activities the cheatham county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural, civic, & community organizations. Leaders attend district, state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications, and agricultural activities.
Youth leadership development cheatham county farm bureau supports youth agriculture organizations both financially and with volunteer hours. The organization is a sponsor of the cheatham county 4-h camp and also donates to the 4-h organization of cheatham county. The cheatham county farm bureau also sponsors and volunteers at the cheatham county fair for the youth livestock show. The cheatham county farm bureau supports these youth events in any way they can, be it financially or with volunteer hours.
