In 2024, Check for a Lump provided 95 breast cancer patients in Arizona with a free new wig. Offering comfort and a sense of normalcy during a challenging time. American Cancer Society found that 86% of women with cancer reported that maintaining their appearance positively impacted their well-being and confidence. Along with their wig, we provide them essential education and resources, empowering women to reduce their risk of recurrence and move toward long-term health.
In 2024, Check for a Lump has supported over 255 women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Super Survivors Unite gatherings uplift and inspire both survivors and their co-survivors, offering hope, connection, and valuable resources. Super Survivor Kits are thoughtfully curated to provide comfort items and essential breast health education to ease the physical and emotional challenges of treatment. Hand-delivered with care by volunteers, these kits remind every survivor that they are never alone.
