Programs

1 program

The COVID-19 vaccination program in Massachusetts extended until December 2024. Our organization played a crucial role in administering vaccinations in partnership with the City of Chelseas Health Department the Chelsea Senior Center and Cataldo Ambulance Service. As the program progressed we expanded to include individuals aged six months and older. This initiative not only fostered lasting community connections but also boosted the vaccination rate to over 92% leading to a significant decline in COVID-related deaths in Chelsea. Our collaborative efforts with various Chelsea agencies and boards have resulted in our members now actively participating or volunteering in key city organizations such as the Chelsea Housing Board CAPIC Chelsea City Council Chelsea Chamber of Commerce Veterans Board of Revere Green Roots and ROCA. By engaging with these entities we continue to support and advocate for the community effectively. Our involvement in vaccinating individuals aged six months and above was instrumental in reducing the impact of the disease and we are proud to have contributed to this important cause.
