Chess Yoga is dedicated to developing chess after-school programs providing chess equipment chess books instruction and organizing chess events for at-risk youth both domestically and abroad.

Chess Yoga provided chess instruction for At-Risk students led by Director Rico Adkins and Grandmaster Enrico Sevillano who is contracted and earns a stipend for providing high level chess instruction. The additional expenses include Chess Educational Software and chess books for instruction for students who cannot afford these resources.
Chess Yoga is still in the process of negotiating a partnership agreement with the Ethiopian Government to provide a Youth Chess Center however due to Covid-19 all travel to Ethiopia by U.S. citizens was banned in June 2020 therefore all travel to negotiate the partnership agreement for 2020 and 2021 was cancelled.
