Programs to guide children in group housing situation to make healthy choices.The Mercy Works Program at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls offers an opportunity for volunteers to gain professional experience in a year long program which provides weekly community nights and periodic retreats for the children at Mercy Home. It builds community and an additional source of motivation and spiritual grounding.The SOS Children's Villages provides a viable alternative to traditional foster care. Children may stay with their biological siblings in private homes. A full-time trained foster parent lives with them and the whole village gives them support, compassion and strength.
The Home provides required information on any adoption processed by the Home to respective adoptees, mothers who gave up their children for adoption and, if for medical reasons, to parents of the adoptees.
