Chicago Tap Theatre brings its performances to Chicago and states throughout the US when contracted by presenters and festival organizers. In FY24, CTT performed in Hayes, KS, Overland Park, KS, Joplin, MO, Terre Haute, IN, Elgin, IL, Charleston, IL and Palos Hills, IL.
Chicago Tap Theatre has educational programming that brings tap dance to students of all ages. CTTs intensives are multi-day events and include guest teachers. CTT held its intensive in Chicago on July 8-12, 2024. CTT also brings programming to Chicago Public Schools.
Chicago Tap Theatre collaborates with a tap dance organization, M.A.D.D. Rhythms, as well as the wider Chicago tap dance community. Collectively known as the Chicago Tap Allstars, the mission of CTA is to audaciously amplify the excellence of Chicago tap dance by creating an equitable, healing, and inclusive community through education, performances, and advocacy. Events were held December 9, 2023 May 24-26, 2024.
