Mission

HTPRC provides support for women facing unplanned pregnancies. We give free pregnancy tests, clothing, baby formula, diapers, and other supplies. We refer clients to other resources, such as an OB/GYN for free ultrasounds, adoption agencies, etc. We also provide computer-assisted classes and hold chat sessions for clients.

Women who become clients of HTPRC are offered participation in an incentive-driven, computer-based education program that provides training and information regarding their pregnancy from prenatal to post-natal. For completing lessons, the women earn 'mommy money' that they can redeem for necessities for their babies - e.g. strollers, car seats, play pens and cribs. These are items the women often would go without or depend on family or friends for hand-me-downs.
