The Child Development Consortium of Los Angeles is dedicated to providing and supporting programs that offer high quality early education programs to children birth to five, regardless of socioeconomic status; increasing the professionalism of those who work in the child development field; and working with professionals in other fields to increase the level of understanding and support for child care and early education programs.

Child and Adult Food Program is funded by the US Department of Agriculture passed through the California Department of Education. CDCLA offers balanced meals and snacks providing up to 60% of each child's daily nutritional requirements to help children learn and develop at their optimal potential. During FY 2024, CDCLA served meals consisting of breakfast, lunch and snacks that totaled approximately 150,000 meals combined.
