The child and adult care food program (cacfp) plays a vital role in assuring the nutritional quality of meals and snacks served to eligible children and adults. The cacfp program provides cash reimbursement for serving meals to enrolled participants that meet federal nutritional guildlines, as outlined in the cacfp meal pattern. In 2024, the organization provided 24,234 meals in low-income children and adults through the cacfp.
The starts to quality program is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for the state of montana that aligns quality indicators and incentives for early childhood programs and early childhood professionals. In 2024, the stars program provided revenue of $16,252 to help the organization pay the following expenses: personnel, fringe, classroom supplies, dues & subscriptions and training.
