The Childrens Environmental Health Network is a national multi-disciplinary organization whose mission is to protect the developing child from environmental hazards and promote a healthier environment.

Programs

Elevate public awareness of environmental hazards to children. General support of CEHNs overall mission to promote safe and healthy environments for children. Activities include development of educational resources and activities to build general awareness around CEHNs mission. Through the use of peer-reviewed science, CEHNs work elevates public awareness of environmental hazards to children. Efforts also include staff preparation and delivery of trainings for a wide variety of stakeholders, presentations at conferences and workshops, and participation in partner coalitions and advisory boards.

Educate health professionals, child care professionals, and decision-makers regarding preventative strategies for effectively reducing and / or eliminating key environmental hazards that impact the health and well-being of children. Training new influential advocates in the field to promote CEHNs mission and goals. Work included the preparation and dissemination of environmental health training materials for health care professionals.
