Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association

Lunch program-the association prepares and distributes subsidized lunches to 300-400 elderly and handicapped citizens, six days per week throughout the whole year.

The association oversees the preservation of historical and cultural chinese cemetery for the chinese american community, including: 1. Provision of interment rights, 2. Conducting ancestor-worship ceremonies and community festivals to honor the deceased, 3. Working with families to advise on chinese burial traditions, translate and prepare grave monuments and markers, and coordinate and perform chinese burial customs, and 4. Arranging volunteers to provide transportation to families and elders to regularly visit cemetery to honor the deceased and conduct religious/cultural traditions.

Other programs including rental apartments and senior building project.
