One of our primary aims is to acquire land and conservation easements to protect in perpetuity for public benefit. We acquired our first conservation property in 2024 via donation from the owner. We spent funds on due diligence title research environmental assessments legal fees closing costs etc. and stewardship management planning.

Expenses: $6K

Our mission is to work with private landowners who want to conserve their lands long-term to provide open space soil and water protection and environmental education. In 2024 we produced two brochures for the public on the services we offer and gave a presentation to 200 residents at a Heritage Days event. We met with dozens of landowners to discuss how we can help them meet their conservation goals for their properties.
