Improving infant care, providing basic needs, promoting literacy, providing college and technical scholarships for underserved children in collier county.

Early learning literacy model: the ellm program, focuses on active learning to improve the early literacy of young children. Ellm-trained christ child volunteers work with children in more than 40 "head start" classrooms in collier county.

At habitat for humanity of collier county, we provide beds and bedding for needy children, ensuring that no child in a collier county habitat home needed to sleep on the floor. Also, in conjunction with books for collier kids, we provide books for children.

Layettes: all chapters of christ child society provide layettes for newborn children in need. As part of the naples program, members of christ child, as well as friends, family members and women from local area retirement communities create blankets for each layette.

Grace place: at grace place, we provide volunteers, classroom supplies, take-home supplies, books, photo albums and refreshments for the "bright beginnings" program, which focuses on services for at-risk and impoverished children in our community.
