Christ In Action is dedicated to the Biblical mandate of reaching those who need to hear the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, especially families who have been devastated by natural or man-made disasters primarily across the United States.

Furnishing HopeIs an initiative that collects donations of new and gently used furniture and partners with local churches and organizations to help residents who have been able to rebuild their house ater a catastrophic event, but need assistance re-furnishing their homes. this at no cost to the homeowners and typically falls into the long-term recovery window, at 6 to 12 months after the initial event, allowing time for rebuilding and recovery before helping them move to the next step All services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ae, disabilit, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
LIGHT PROJECTChrist In Action provides grants for THE LIGHT PROJECT, providing humanitarian aid to Indonesia through resourcing churches and providing shelter and recovery for survivors of human trafficking. All services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
FBFROur Faith Based First Responders training equip lay-people and clergy alike to minister in times of crisis. With 4 distinct classes they cover a broad range of topics from Disaster Preparedness to Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) blending best practices from the mental health profession as well as Biblical principles. Two of our courses are written by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and accredited through University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).
CIA PHILIPPINESIn 2018 Christ In Action established a base of operations in Zamboanga Philippines to respond locally to the myriad of natural disaster that these islands are hit with on a regular basis. We provide training, funding, and oversight for the local indigenous leaders who serve when called upon. All services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

CIA Midwest DisasterIn 2025 Christ in Action established a base of operations in Wisconsin to serve in regional Disaster Response that would not require a national mobilization, in addition to supporting large scale responses across the country when called upon. All services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identiy.
PASTOR'S CONVENTION/RETREATChrist In Action facilitates retreats, offering peer support, debriefing, and encouragement for pastors who have walked with their congregation through disaster situations. Additonally following these retreats we offer cohorts for ongoing support as they move forward. All services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color, national origin, age, or disability. Due to the content and context f these retreats it is suited specifically for those of a JUdeo-Christian faith and accomodations limit our audience to either male or female.
CIA Ellsworth, MEIn 2019 Christ In Action established a base of operations in Maine to serve as a warming shelter in the harsh winter in the event of ice storms and power failure. This includes a place to sleep, showers, and meals when needed. All services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
