Mission
Catholic Community Response Team provides direct support and referral services to those in crisis needing emergency assistance to meet their basic needs. We do it in a manner inspired by the Gospel of Jesus. Our focus is to keep families in their home or assist unhoused persons to get into and maintain housing. Provide a Christian compassionate response to those in need primarily within but not limited to the City of Pontiac. Provide intake services and assessments based on client needs to build a relationship in order to overcome small hurdles which hinder self-sustainability. Coordinate our efforts with other community agencies and providers to make the best use of available resources and to provide appropriate referrals to broaden the scope of our response.
Programs
4 programs
Our organization endeavors to enhance the quality of life for individuals in need by providing crucial furniture and household items. We achieve this through the benevolent donations from both the local community and community organizations.
Our program service assists underserved individuals in securing housing by providing financial support for security deposits. This initiative aims to eliminate barriers that prevent marginalized populations from accessing stable housing promoting stability and independence. By offering funds for security deposits we empower individuals to overcome financial obstacles and secure safe and reliable housing fostering a sense of security and opportunity for a brighter future.
Our program offers direct financial aid to families facing the imminent threat of utility shut-off. By providing cash assistance we help these families maintain essential services like electricity heating and water. This support ensures that vulnerable households can avoid the serious consequences of having their utilities disconnected such as compromising their health safety and overall well-being.
Our organizations primary goal is to provide essential support to individuals experiencing hardship by offering food clothing and personal grooming items. Through our program services we aim to address immediate needs and promote dignity and well-being among those facing challenges. Our efforts focus on ensuring that individuals have access to basic necessities for their daily lives contributing to a sense of security and self-worth.
