Classes/enrollment show classes in the performing arts are held each fall, winter, and spring for students ages 5 to 18. There are two locations, east and west. For season 2024, eighteen classes were taught and 340 students enrolled in three 10-11 week sessions for east and west locations. For east locations, the students demonstrate skills learned by performing in a musical theatre showcase for families, friends, and community patrons. For west locations, those enrolled audition for roles but all students are cast in the enrollment show. Tickets are sold to patrons. The fall session performed honk jr., winter session performed pure imagination a broadway jr. Revue, and the spring session performed doctor dolittle jr.
Showsduring the fall and spring sessions, students ages 8 to 18 can audition for a broadway-style fully-staged production. Those choosing not to audition or if not cast, are encouraged to take part in the production by way of ushering, working backstage, assisting with props, or helping in the hair, makeup, and/or technical areas. Parent volunteers are a critical part in offering high-quality productions that have become the hallmark of the organization. Near the end of the session, four show productions are performed for the public. For the 2024 season, 145 cast members participated in two shows in the spring, peter pan and inthe fall, beauty and the beast.the cast rehearsed for a 10 to 12 week period which concluded with four performances for the music man, and two performances for finding nemo jr. With approximately 5280 patrons attending.
