Housing: the current hud (housing and urban development) permanent housing program remained successful over the past year with 12 scattered site units housing a total of 25 adults and children throughout elk and cameron counties. Capsea's housing component forvictims/survivors has also grown over the past fiscal year to include two (2) hud (housing and urban development) rapid rehousing programs for victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual, violence, and human trafficking. One rrh program will provide mobile advocacy to victims and their children not only in elk and cameron counties, but make housing possible in surrounding, participating counties in northwest pa. The original rrh program currently provides housing for 6 adult survivors with additional individuals working through the coordinated entry process for housing. The rrh mobile advocacy project is scheduled to began in october 2022.

Advocacy:individual/ advocacy: individual advocacy was provided to victims/survivors/witnesses of crime by helping them secure services through preparation for the service or court process, accompaniment to other agency and assistance in that process, and/or speaking up intheir behalf, when requested and in partnership with the victims/survivors. This would include advocacy services at a child advocacy center by the capsea victim/witness staff. 861 victims/witnesses received individual advocacy throughout elk and cameron counties. This is an increase of 583 crime victims since 21/22. Systems advocacy: capsea staff include contacts made for the purpose of effecting policy and/or procedural change in order to improve a system's response to survivors of domestic violence/ipv/sexual assault/serious crime victims/witnesses. 115 systems advocacy contactswere conducted during the past year throughout elk and cameron counties. This is an increase of 95 contacts from 21/22.
