Legislative:cchr austin educated legislators on various committees about issues of psychiatric abuse, including voluntary patients being held against their will in psychiatric hospitals. Cchr austin also educated legislators on a number of mental heatlh activities being conducted in schools without parental consent. Many parents came to the capitol to tell legislators about what happened to their children in their own school districts.
