Mission
To develop and support the development of programs, curriculums, and activities to enhance the socialization of seniors and the educational development of youth.
Programs
3 programs
Computer Literacy: The organization offers computer literacy classes designed primarily for senior citizens and underserved community members. These classes provide instruction in basic computer skills, internet navigation, email usage, and accessing essential online services. The program aims to reduce the digital divide, promote independence, and enhance the quality of life for participants. Classes are offered at no cost or a nominal fee. While no income was realized in 2024, we do anticipate it to be a small source of income in the future.
Senior Centers Services: The organization hosts regular senior luncheons to promote social engagement, reduce isolation, and support the overall well-being of older adults in the community. These gatherings provide nutritious meals in a welcoming environment and often include informational presentations, health screenings, or recreational activities. The program fosters a sense of belonging and connection among participants, many of whom live alone or have limited mobility.
Scholarships: In honor of one of the founders who is now deceased, we granted two scholarships to two deserving High School Seniors.
