The mission of City of Refuge - Chicago is to bring light, hope, and transformation to individuals and their families on the westside of Chicago. We accomplish this mission through resource distribution, youth development programming, and various special events to build community cohesion resulting in violence reduction.

The Youth development arm is called Chicago Westside and Southside Police and Youth Sports. CORC partners with local and state law enforcement, local nonprofits, and local faith-based organizations to offer free quality sports that create safe spaces and community building for youth and their families as well as connecting resources to those that need them. Served over 1100 youth in 2024.

The largest special event was the Westside Christmas Drive Thru - a collaboration between local law enforcement, local nonprofits, and local faith-based organizations to provide a holiday event providing hundreds of coats, hats, scarfs, gloves, and toys. Served over 400.
