Mission
We are a regionally recognized nonprofit model that has been teaching people how to grow food and care for the environment since 1942. Founded during the victory gardens movement and situated on the former estate of philanthropist cornelius j. Hauck, we are cincinnatis go-to resource for all things gardening and conservation.
Programs
1 program
Conservation program: we support our community in restoring, preserving and maintaining urban greenspaces throughout the greater cincinnati region, from private backyards to school campuses to public parks. Healthy greenspaces provide a home for wildlife and a place for people to relax and enjoy themselves. They support community building and inspire a connection with the natural world. As we work to tackle todays environmental crises, its up to each of us to play a part in conserving habitats and public green spaces for the benefit of people and the planet.
