Student support intercede scholars- a year-round program that is conducted monthly with graduates of the whitney m. Young, jr./rosa l. Parks summer institutes. This program is directed to high school students. 23 participants. Whitney m. Young, jr./rosa l. Parks i summer institutes- this program is a four week educational experience for youth 14 years of age and older. The new brunswick board of education and private funds support the program. Those participants who maintain acceptable grades and complete requirements of the intercede scholars were eligible for the rosa l.parks summer institute. 28 students the 2024 ambassador summer programs occurred with students from lord stirling, paul robeson, blanquita b. Valenti, a.c. Redshaw schools for a four-week period involving rising graders with performing and visual art activities, with 74 students completing the program. Learn to earn - the learn to earn program was directed towards incoming sixth to eighth grade students at new brunswick middle school. The program concluded the summer activities aiding 20 middle school aged youth in the areas of literacy, stem, and mindfulness activities.
