Agriculture leadership activities the claiborne county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local acricultural civic & community organizations. Leaders attend district state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications and agriculture activities.

Youth leadership activities the claiborne county farm bureau remains involved as part of the oversight of agricultural youth development in the area. The efforts include a farm day for both preschool and 5th grade children. This is especially important for the 5th graders because it shows them where their food and fiber comes from and how important agriculture is to sustaining life. The other efforts include sponsoring the 4-h steer show.
