The claremont courier serves the public as an objective community news source since its founding in 1908. As a leading impartial news source, we aim to educate the public to help better the lives of our residents and our city at large. The courier creates a safe environment serving as an open forum for ideas, while providing a public space for citizens to interact. Our role as watchdog ensures government works for the people and not special interests. We work diligently to forge relationships with claremont businesses and institutions that support the economic and cultural engines in our thriving city. Finally, our reader-driven philosophy focuses on publishing information in any format, print and digital, in an effort to reach all citizens regardless of race, gender, education and income.
