Clarke's mainstream services in philadelphia and surrounding counties support children and their families transitioning into mainstream schools, with customizable services for each student's unique needs. A team of dedicated professionals, including itinerant teachers of the deaf, speech-language pathologists and an educational audiologist are part of the general education team.teachers of the deaf serve students who are deaf or hard of hearing from preschool through high school in mainstream school settings. Individual auditory, speech and language services are available for children in mainstream programs, giving them access to the tools they need to thrive at school. Audiological services include educational audiology consultation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in mainstream schools. Transitional planning services to help facilitate adjustment into mainstream school, working with the student, their family and the school staff to prepare for transition.teachers of the deaf are here to provide support and training to school professionals, parents and students through a variety of personalized services which incorporate specific strategies to enhance each student's communication and success. Approximately 28 children served.
Early intervention/birth-to-age-three program is offered in the natural environment, onsite or virtually to help families learn ways to embrace a listening and spoken language lifestyle.the hearing center provides audiological services, including serving as an approved medical durable good provider in the state. Approximately 77 children served.
Tvisit teleservices program offers a full range of customized listening and spoken language (lsl) services virtually for children of all ages and their families. Approximately 1 child served.
