Classically connected, inc. ("cci"), formerly known as si-yo music society foundation, inc., is a not-for-profit that aims to connect a global community with classical music by conserving, loaning, and promoting education about instruments; cci also presents outstanding musicians of all ages in performances, master classes, and educational and community outreach programs.

The findmyinstrument.org registry, launched in november 2022, registered 250 instruments as of june 2024. Cci-managed instruments with fmi registration numbers received a 75% discount on insurance premiums.

The artist-centric investment model (acim) was established in 2023 with cci artist eric silberger and a cci-managed j.b. Guadagnini violin. Cci also initiated the establishment of a francois tourte bow 1805, llc to enable the tourte bow owned by cci to have member shares purchased by known persons in non-public offerings.

The affinity program, established in 2024 with tectus insurance, offers a 75% insurance premium discount on cci-managed instruments with findmyinstrument.org registration numbers. The program is expected to also generate royalty income for cci in the future through a 5% share of gross premiums collected by tectus from third parties on registered instruments.

Sau-wing lam memorial violin scholarship fund. The first award was officially made to cci artist violinist alejandro mendoza. The $5,000 grant enabled mendoza, a former student of dorothy delay and a violin teacher known for his exceptional skills at teaching gifted young violinists, to travel to nyc monthly during the academic year so he could teach several extraordinarily talented students, including young jayden king (https://youtu.be/9fbk7hlvgtq?si=cf4w4hlr66ekml7-).
