Mission
To help preserve the environment by promoting oil spill preparedness, response and restoration capacity building in the caribbean, the americas and worldwide, through programs of education, training, drills and exercises, workshops and technical forums, and national contingency planning, and to develop liaisons, communications, information exchange and enhanced response cooperation, coordination and mechanisms with regional governments, oil industry, academia, and non-governmental organizations.

Travel to various locations within the united states and internationally to participate in oil spill response industry, and joint government & industry conferences, forums, workshops, committees, or other meetings: iosc conference, rac-rempeitc steering committee meeting, slom conference, and clean gulf conference.
Sponsorship to fund travel and lodging expenses for presenters at a special session on oil spill response experiences, and research and development at the international oil spill conference (iosc 2024).
Grant to woods hole oceanographic institution to support its work in marine chemistry research and education.
