We honor the legacy of jackson and lydia clemmons, and are centered at and steward their family farm in charlotte. The 138-acre working farm includes prime agricultural land of state importance, 60 acres of open space, 60 acres of forest and woodlands, and 6 historic buildings. The clemmons farm is listed in the national register of historic places.

Historic preservation programs and services supporting construction, repairs, and maintenance of the use of the historic clemmons farm by artists, community members, other nonprofit organizations, and k12 schools for scheduled arts and culture programs and events.

Health and wellness arts programs. This work includes the how are we doing project and artist residencies. Funds are mainly used to pay artist fees, consultant fees, program management fees and stipends for storytelling participants.

Organizational development. Strengthening the organization's ability to implement its mission, including training the board of directors, improving the website, and purchasing digital equipment for the community arts programs and events.

K12 windows to a multicultural world this program groups together several small grants, fee-for-services, and curriculum sales for k12 programs that feature the development and delivery of africanamerican history curriculum, artist engagements, and a remote learning platform for teachers, parents, and students.
