Mission

Distribution of Kosher food and other household items to meet the basic needs of the financially vunerable families and provide referrals to social services and other assistance to such families in order to further their financial stability.

In addition to the no-cost food, household items and gently used clothing distributed on an ongoing basis, the Chesed Center runs an annual clothing sale prior to the Jewish Holidays. Approximately 67 families benefited from the sale of select clothing items which were subsidized and sold below wholesale cost.
