Cleveland Leadership Center

Cleveland bridge builders (cbb) enables mid-career professionals of all ages to prepare for meaningful, fulfilling, and impactful engagement in the community. The 10-month program provides a unique environment that fosters teamwork, growth, and learning through experiential collaboration, hands-on experiences, and interactive civic education that results in a truly transformative experience. Civic leadership institute (cli) is a series of six short, weekly sessions designed to increase the civic knowledge base and engagement for people of all ages and career stages that seek a better understanding of the community's civic infrastructure, are new to the area, or are starting a new assignment. Facilitators are individuals involved in civic matters at the highest levels. (revenue does not include grants and contributions.)

Look up to cleveland (lutc) allows high school leaders from across northeastern ohio to develop leadership skills, acquire an understanding of the community, and gain a better appreciation of diversity. In addition to a school year program for juniors, lutc offers summer programming for rising juniors and seniors; career compass workshops to illustrate career options and pathways to students in the cleveland metropolitan school district; and delivers dare2lead anti-bullying workshops that train students as peer leaders and fully engages students and their educators. Cleveland leadership center alumni association brings together alumni of all the cleveland leadership center programs to take on a range of civic engagement and educational activities, while continuing to deepen collaborative relationships that further clc's mission. Campus cleveland (cc) attracts, retains, and reclaims the next generation of cleveland's leaders by engaging college students in civic, neighborhood, and professional opportunities. Campus cleveland summer program connects interns from large and small corporations and nonprofit organizations more deeply to the community during their work experience; and school-year programming engages students at dozens of colleges across northeast ohio in cleveland's civic, business, cultural, and community assets to encourage them to remain in the region. Onboard cleveland (obc) is a leadership and civic development experience that helps early-career professionals enhance communication skills, strengthen workplace presence, and create an awareness of the civic realm. It builds connections among employees, their organizations, and civic engagement opportunities. (revenue does not include grants and contributions.)

Legacy leaders (ll) and advanced leadership institute (ali): legacy leaders identifies experienced leaders who are in or approaching retirement and engages them with education and action on relevant civic issues to drive long-term positive change for northeast ohio. Legacy leader participants are a key component of the advance leadership institute, which brings together three generations of leaders (ll, established leaders, and emerging leaders) to explore solutions to five challenging issues that have confronted cleveland for decades: education, health, housing, public safety, and workforce development. The george gund foundation granted scholarship funds for clc program participants meeting grant restrictions. These funds were partially distributed to approved participants. The remaining funds will be distributed according to grant restrictions to participants in clc programs until all funds are depleted.
