Climate Action Reserve

The north american carbon world (nacw) conference represents the largest north american event addressing the most pressing issues in climate policy and carbon pricing and features comprehensive and up-to-date information, key thought leaders advancing innovative climate solutions, and the best networking opportunities with colleagues in the business, government, nonprofit, and academic sectors. Nacw 2024 explored subnational and international climate policy, carbon pricing, climate finance, lcfs and robust climate solutions. For all of these reasons and more, nacw has long been considered the must-attend event of the year for climate policy and carbon pricing.

In fy2024, the reserve continued to engage in international initiatives, including the development of international emissions reduction standards, collaborating with partners and serving as an expert consultant for governments and others. In fy2023, the reserve continued to accept forestry projects in rural mexico to grow its mexico forest project protocol, including the development of its verification program and training verifiers. The reserve also continued to accept projects under relevant offset protocols in canada.
