The Coalition for Immigrant Mental Health (CIMH) is a collaborative, community based, and research-informed initiative that is a partnership between immigrants, regardless of status, mental health practitioners, community organizers, researchers, and allies. CIMH implemented a training and consultation program supporting mental health services in high-need shelters. The organization contracted 15 licensed providers as Reflective Consultants, facilitated Cohorts 6?10 through bilingual trainers, and coordinated training logistics via a part-time event staff member. CIMH also provided oversight, research support, and administrative coordination. The project was funded through an agreement, with expenses covering consultants, training delivery, and general operations.
CIMH coordinated a mental health initiative involving 15 Reflective Consultants, training staff, and an evaluation team to support high-need shelters. The program included training delivery, event coordination, transportation, and evaluation activities. Administrative support and financial oversight were also provided. These efforts support CIMH?s mission to improve access to culturally competent mental health care for immigrant communities.
CIMH received general operating support to sustain staffing, administrative capacity, and ongoing program infrastructure, enabling the organization to continue its mission-driven work supporting immigrant mental health.
