A public health initiative working to make healthy local foods more available, more accessible, and more familiar by connecting local growers with local consumers as well as providing education around local food, nutrition, and regenerative agriculture.

Programs

1 program

Virtual market: coastal foodshed operates an online farmers market where customers can order local food online for pickup and delivery. In august of 2024, we moved to a new location and opened a brick and mortar retail store, called the food hub market, an expansion of our virtual market. We are open 5 days a week 9-5pm selling local food to snap customers and the public. These two programs share an inventory and budget. Information on this program including expenses and revenue are estimates
