Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. promotes choices for healthier lives and safer communities by providing a continuum of professional services for prevention, crisis intervention, sexual assault victims, criminal justice alternatives, integrated primary care, and the treatment of substance abuse and mental health disorders.

Programs

The Criminal Justice Services Division of Coastal Horizons Center provides treatment accountability for safer communities services in 53 counties, reentry systems for effective treatment (RESET), jail diversion in New Hanover County, recidivism reduction services in 13 counties, and Our Children's Place which is statewide advocacy and educational program which also provides services in prisons to maintain family connections. The North Carolina TASC Training Institute of Coastal Horizons provides evidence based training to TASC staff statewide via live and virtual learning environments in order to improve the delivery of services to the offender population across the state.

The Rape Crisis Center of Coastal Horizons Center offers free and confidential services to victims of sexual abuse and assault and their friends, family, and loved ones. These services include; 24-hour crisis hospital response, 24-hour crisis hotline supportive counseling and therapy, support groups, law-enforcement/court advocacy and accompaniment.
