Coastal Marine Biolabs CMB develops model programs and educational resources aimed at improving high school science teaching and learning. CMB provides innovative and comprehensive science learning experiences for high school students to better prepare them for success in 21st century science career settings. The organization also provides immersive professional development experiences that are designed to provide high school science teachers with the subject matter knowledge technical training classroom resources and instructional strategies required to successfully implement science curricula developed by our faculty and their partners. These newly developed science curricula are aimed at transforming science teaching practices to better reflect how science is experienced in real-world scientific settings.
