CoHNA pronounced: Kohnaa is a grassroots advocacy group representing the Hindu community of North America. It is building a movement to empower Hindus whereby they can become meaningful contributors and active participants in their local communities on a wide range of issues.

Advocacy:Standing up for Human rights: Highlight and address human rights violations against Hindus globally. Create professional research toolkits and and host workshops and webinars for lawmakers and staffers. Conduct dedicated education sessions for policymakers through our Day at the Hill Program

Other programs: Empowering young Hindus on college campuses. Continue to expand the reach of the CoHNA Youth Action Network in universities across North America. Protect our sacred symbols and festivals: Educate the public on the difference between the sacred Swastika and the Nazi Hakenkreuz and continue to challenge the misuse and abuse of Hindu religious symbols in commercial spaces
